Alternatives to Haltek
My BPT did not come with an ECU. I am trying to save money by not going with a Haltek. I think it is just too much for what I am trying to do. I need something a lot cheaper than $1,400+. What are my options?

Well I think if you had the time to learn the system or the help the Greddy Emanage is a really great system. For a piggyback with a piggy back price it does a lot. Fuel maps, timing, and even has an optional Map sensor for when your MAF scale is maxed out. It just takes some time to learn how to tune, I don't have time thus I went with a SAFC II for my turbo project. Also, there is a custom AFC that a guy on clubprotege.com is making. go to the turbo section there to get more info.
AEMs new system is like 800-900 bucks
second hand haltechs are around 600-700
megasquirt is only like 300 max
motec not an option cause its like double what you want
wolf 3d is an option
sds is an option as well
