Matt, your going to have to take a drive through one of the passes of British Columbia towards Vancouver. Take the ferry across to Victoria on Vancouver Island (perhaps see some club members, Taras for one) and then theres a pretty cool ferry ride from Victoria to Washington State. Make the round trip through the Cascades of eastern Wasington State back up towards Calgary then Edmonton (if that's where you have to fly out of). There's a lot to see on a round trip like that.
What do you think Tune's...missed my calling as a tour agent....LOL

There is a lot of beautiful touring country out on the pennisula as well.. long open roads... very few cops..
Take a radar/laser detector with you and you can cruise along at 90mph without any issues.. make sure to ditch the detector if you get pulled over though. They arent illegal in WA state.. but if a cop sees one.. automatic ticket. The Quinalt rainforest is a awesome place.. its the smallest of the 3 big rainforests on the pennisula.. so it sees the least amount of tourists and as a result.. you really can get isolated and just drink in the quiet..
I usually make a trip there once a year.. spring & fall are the best times. I might even have some pics from there floating around if anyone is interested in seeing some ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Sorry, no "Duke" pinching, haven't had the time it deserves to put it on the road for the last 1.5 years. No short-cuts when it comes to this Ducati - only 4 to 5 in Canada and maybe a few more in the States with original factory racing frame, suspension, tank and bodywork.kiwi_MX3 wrote:keep the idea's up guy's though john should i pack my bike gearand nick the duke of ya ??? at least on a bike i don't have to worry about the LHD department

The gang from MX West should be able to give you some very interesting things to see and do. Vancouver and Vancouver Island (Victoria) are a must and the route through the mountains getting there is half the fun. Great "Duke" territory...LOL.
400 problems??, good thing it wasn't a Monday or Friday one...LOL
You should try and tackle some of the issues some of the Antonov's and Illusyns (sp) have when they land here...not pretty...LOL Gotta like that discount Ex-Soviet charter airline......pretty scarey.

Tisk Tisk john the Duke deserves better than that.
Kinda had a squiz at the world map hanging up in
composite's today, start to relise Canada is a pretty
BIG! place, liking the idea of starting in Edmonton then
working my way down the mountians to vancouver....
Can't remeber where all the BIG roller coster parks are
but i LOVE roller coaster's so its another thing to add to the
list...
yea you got to love Anton Antonov.... the landing gear is
well a work of art really......Mindyou a monday 400 might be
easier to fix i think, very sloppy work on this one...
