What is a MX-3 Precidia?

Post by TrickMX-3 »

What's the difference in the MX-3 Precidia? I really dont know i try finding out but i cant seem to. Anyone that owns or owned an MX-3 RS 1.6L, what do you personally think of the overall car? Does it have speed, is it quick? I really like to know because i plan to improve mine meanwhile i cant get my license right now due to problems. But i want to know if its worth putting money into or not? Well hit me up peace.

As far as I know, there's no difference between the US and Canadian release that is the Precidia other than badging.

That is not 100% true. In Canada we didn't get the automatic seatbelt because they didn't pass crash safety standard in every country except the US. We did get DRL. After '94 Air bags were only optional equipment right up to the end of '96. The canadian model had softer springs that the US model until it was dropped in the US then the OEM springs became slightly stiffer in the rear and the rear anti-roll bar was upgraded in '96 to 22mm. Over the last 12 years I have looked at two or three hundred MX-3 both in Canada and the US it appears the cars destined for Canada in late '92 to mid '93 were built were all the hard points for the BG GTa-E AWD hardware welded to the chassis.
