hate to be the jerk......

Post by MarkMoore »

hate to be the jerk who brings this up (although i'm sure it's been mentioned before), but when (if ever) are the FAQ threads goin to be reformatted correctly? it seems that when the switch-over took place w/ this site (BTW, thanks jeff, for the "Christmas present" :2thumbsup: ) that the FAQ formatting got all screwed up... it seems that I (and probably others) tend to shy away from reading these now... consequently, this may bog down the other forums with unnecessary questions which otherwise could have been answered had the person read the FAQ section... i'm not complaining, because i think the new site was a great change and am really grateful for it, but rather i'm inquiring about the matter and offering any help to get these bad boys back to readable, usable status...

Please post a link to the specific topics that you would like reformatted.

The old UBB had different formatting commands then the new phpBB, so some of the older posts did not convert properly.

If you post a link here, I will attempt to reformat it/them properly.

If i find it is taking up too much of my time, I may request someone to do it for us, and they will get full rights to the FAQ sections.

So..... post your links you want formatted. And if you are interested in helping out with this task, please let me know.

Maybe someone has already brought these specific FAQ issues to your attention, if not, then here's some problems I've discovered:

Most of the threads in all the FAQ Forums just need to be edited to remove all the <blah, blah, blah> that was left during the switch.

V6 FAQ's:
