I knew from day one that the charge piping for my bpt was s--- but now I really know for sure. See, the problem started when I was just finishing up the car to get it on the street and I didnt have time/money to buy good intercooler piping (ie. heavy duty clamps, silocone hoses.) but now I think that I am going to have to.
I did a pressure test yesterday on my entire system and not to my suprise it wouldent hold anything.. Just 0 on the gauge. Now I did take it all apart to replace the clamps so it could be leaking in some places but talk about hard to find. I have decided that it is all gonna go.. Its kinda upsetting though since it was so friggin hard to replace all those clamps. Anyway, it shouldent be too bad I suppose... I just need some 90 degree steel/aluminum bends and a few feet of silocone hose to get it all togethor. To hell with this canadian tire getto crap. I have to get serious now.. No more boost leaks. I want to be able to put 30 psi in that system and not worry about it. Screw this cheap crap.. if you want good quality and performance you have to dish out the dough, simple as that..
