Headlight Question
just purchased 92 MX3. Headlights are both whited-out. Can they be polished out or what? If not, where can i purchase replacement lens that will not cost me many $$$$$$. Any answers or comments?
Re: Headlight Question
I had the same thing with my 93GS and I found a product that works wonders, it is called PLASTIC SCRATCH REMOVER by STAR BRITE !!!!!!!! This stuff made my lights clear! very clear, I have now put in blue bulbs and the difference is night and day. The bottle costs about 9.00 CDN and I went to a boat store to order it but after I worked it in the differance was awsome. Normal compound worked a little but the ligths went dull again, with the star brite I have not tuched them in a few months and they look like aftermarket clear lenses, better then new!<P>brandon_junkin@hotmail.com

Re: Headlight Question
Thanks Brandon. I couldn't locate the StarBrite product...I did find and try a 3M product called "Marine Clear Plastic Restorer". The results are great. Headlights look good-as-new. thanks for the tip. AA
