I just started on my exhaust and decited on a flomaster due to the fact that all my cars that I owned have had them. I went with the 40 series and the sound is real deep, good I think. It is deep till about 3500 rpm's anyhow then all I hear is the engine, anyone know why this is? Not realy a bad thing since It is quieter while driving down the freeway. I put on the duel outlet tip to kinda keep the stock look.
Just one other thing is there any bad things about putting on a turbo to the stock k8? just wondering.

I believe I heard recently that the 60 series was actually designed for lower cc engines. I would be curious to hear both the 40 and the 60 through a few gears to decide myself, however.

I went with the 40 series as a first choice. When I went to the garage to buy it I saw the 60 series, read the box and made a final choice on the 40 series judged on what I read. I stii like it though, not to loud but you know I am there.

Had one of exit tubes fall of my factory muffler (bought the car this summer with 33k miles, 1993 gs) and the drone about made me insane. Bought a NAPA OEM replacment just to make sure it was quiet. Have a weekend car (when it starts) with flo masters and 390 cubic inches of displacement.

Sounds like its carburated. that sucks. LOL

I have a $20 turbo thrush chamber muffler and 2.5" piping, no cat, no resonator. the car sounds like a straight up rice burner. Sounded quieter when I had the turbo kit in (its taken out for the winter right now) but still had some rasp. Im thinking of going with a 24" glasspack to get rid of it. Any comments?
