Lee, first things first. Do the intake. Check out some of these guys' web sites on Mx3.com for ideas. I made one myself with their help. I just bought a KN cone filter and 90 degree bend PVC (plumbing) If you buy three inch diameter, it fits right over the VAF with a great seal. It sounds awesome at full throttle,a nd it's cheap. 60 can!!!
