Depending which day of the week it is, my interior lights will not come on when I open the door, this includes the light by the ignition switch. Areas to look?

Spring loaded switch inside lower rear part of front door openning. Subject to gumming up and getting sticky over time. A little cleaning and lube and your back in business. Shouldn't need a new switch unless it's broken. Ignition switch light also tied into same circuit.

mine does this as well, but if I just wiggle the pin on the door jam a bit it turns on. I deal with it for now, but when my interior gets redone, im gonna pull it out and clean all the contacts up real good. It works great, I did it before on my 94scort and no problems afterwards
93SE-KLDE Theres a big peice of metal inside my other peice of metal now...weird???
