Hey everyone, I have a 93 GS and I NEED to find out where the Baby/CarSeat mounts up. Any Ideas? Ive searched google for over an hour and nothing. I could always weld my own mounting hook, but if anyone knows the where the stock mounting point is I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Page 2-20 to 2-25 in owners manual. Rear seats only.
You need a seatbelt locking clip, tether strap and anchor bracket bolt combo to attach tether strap to. Anchor bracket bolts go either (for right side - on right trunk floor under flip up portion of carpet) or for left side (drivers side) (left rear trucnk wall - pop out round plastic cover piece. Seatbelt locking clips are pretty generic and if you get ahold of an owners manual the diagrams will clarify the set-up as well as give you enough to go on if you have to fabricate your own anchor bracket. Shouldn't be too hard.
Did I just say all that? Whew...shades of my MPV days...LOL

K, Theres no hook that I can find... and no place I can see in which to place a hook.... Anyone able to maybe point me in the direction of an online manual to look at, or poss. pictures of the proper setup. My son is to big now for a rear facing carseat and I really need to turn it around asap.
Once again thanks very much.

I've got my carseat on the right side in back. Those brackets that tighten the seatbelt, came with the car seat. I bought a universal bracket hook(set of 3). Drilled a hole on the trunk floor, just below the rear seat, and hook the back strap to it.

I said F' it, and took the rear seat belt mounts off, and relocated them down about a foot and took a Dremel and made nice little slits in the plastic trim so the seat belts come out about 6 inches below the shock tower. The seat belts are at a fine height for my kids. It won't work for an infant of course, because they can't even hold thier giant melon heads up by themselves, let alone sit upright ......... but should be perfectly safe for 2 years old and up. Not sure if it'd hold up in a court if I got ticketed for it, but I'm only worried about my kid's safety ....... while not looking like a dork with a car seat in the back.

Dont knock us, theres prob more than you think.Franko wrote:Check out the hardcore mxer's here.. There tuners and dads...

I was contemplating hooking it to where the seat latches at the top.... I gave it a couple massive yanks, and seemed stable, but not sure if its the greatest idea in the world to attach it there....
