Sweet-- Jeff Converted the old, out-dated UBB to the new phpbb forum!

WOO HOO!!!

(I was starting to have withdrawals... not being able to get on the board uyesterday... anyone else?)

Ha lucky for me I've been trying to switch to a good linux distrobution for the past few days (omg there are a lot of them). The transition seemed seemless to me. Love the new phpbb....much faster. Thanks Jeff.

Maybe soon I'll sum up the effort to click the donation button.

ya i was so lost yesterday lol i kept checking back to see if it was online yet. had no idea i'd find something like this lol.

its going to take me some time to get used to the new layout, it hurt my eyes at first for some reason lol, i guess i was just so used to the old lay out. but this new layout is far better

however im confused about the new member status's? it says im a junior member lol. how does it work now? every 1,000 posts it goes up?

anybody can explain what's new with this phpbb?
I know one thing is the option to see the posts since your last visit..that things rock..
One thing I would love though (maybe we have it now) is . . .
EMAIL NOTIFICATION!! that would be awsome..when somebody replies after you you got notified by email...

anyways...nice christmas gift Jeff !

Working on the Junior member status labels.

You can get an e-mail notification. After you post a topic, or a reply, check the box that says "Notify me when a reply is posted"

Yeah jeff the site is much better now. The last one was getting kinda boreing and this one just makes me want to come back even more than i already do.

ya it does seem to be faster, even on my dial-up, I like background carbon fiber look, is http://www.mx-3.com main page will be updated too? I noticed it was showing wrong date, I hope it would have better graphics too, like large mx3 in background. Well this is better anyways, better feautures. Great job!

best thing is the search actually works like it should've on the UBB.

now you don't ahve to wait for it to search through 40+ forums to find anything...it does it all at once
