Factory Fog Removal

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

I jus bought some nice upgraded bulbs for my factory fog lamps an i have a problem... i cant get the damn things out of the bumper. are there more than 2 screws holding them in?? as i look at them there is a screw at 12 o clock, an allen bolt at 6 o clock an another screw at 7 o clock, am i missing anything? cheers

No thats all they're quite long philips head screws. Don't undo the allen screw - thats the adjuster.

Mine were very tight too. Just the front section comes off so you can change the bulb. A bit of force is all thats needed.

thanks for the heads up grants, i think u replied before, i still couldnt get the damn things off!! arse!!! ill succeed eventually i guess.

I had real trouble with the first one (bit corroded), didn't seem like those screws were gonna do it, so I tried the other one and it came apart easy. At least then I knew I was on the right track and what to do with the first one. Good luck with it! It always seems the little jobs are the hardest :)

got that sorted thx mate, next prob, do u know if we can get silver reflectors cause mine are yellow an fairly ugly!! ive gotta take em apart to sort out foggin up so i wanna change em if i can :2thumbsup: :froggie_red: thanks again Grants, 5 stars for you
