I know this has been revisited before again and again, so don't blow a fuse

I went out and got a neon light with the ciggarete adapter....I cut the adapter off and exposed the wires...I connected the wires to the power supply for the ciggarate lighter..

This in my opinion is a pretty crappy setup and I'm looking more information on how to connect it to the dimmer so i can connect it to a REAL power source that won't keep it on everytime the car is on.

Please post with specific details including where/what color/ and how to connect the wires.

If all goes well I'll take pics of the finished product and retrace my steps in order to make a complete write up.

Any and all help will be appreciated. :froggie_red:

Better idea...

Can i just run wires from the battery directly into a swtich which then run into the neons?

Think this this will work for 4 neons...I'll give it a go.

Why don't you hook them up to the light that light's up cigarette lighter. This way it will ne on when your parking lights are on.

ok this is what i did..

I hooked my light to ciggarete power source with a switch.

It works perfectly.. Now i just need to custom fit the switch next to the lighter and i'll be set...

I'll take a pic of the finished product...

Question: How many lights can i hookup to the ciggarete power source?
