Speedometer

Post by mx3grlsikride »

Ok here is my problem. I installed a ractive tach directly up the tachometer. The tach works but my speedometer doesn't. I checked the wires on the back of the cluster but everything looks ok and I can't seem to figure out why its not working. I even checked the plug that u have to disconnect to get the cluster out and it looks like it is ok too. Is it possible that something shorted out? Anybody have any suggestions as to how I can fix it??

I believe 93's still used the cable from tranny to show speed; i.e. not electroic. I've heard that mazda switched over in 94...
