Yah, I looked at Cappuccinos before and they indeed look very close, with low beam projectors. Have a pretty loyal following too.

Cappucinos are soo small that the headlights might look really weird on a "big" car like an MX-3. You may want to look up the dimensions on those lights and compare them to the dimensions of the MX-3.

That's a kewl looking car.

Reminds me of a messed up S2000!

Those lights are nice though, but good luck getting them over here on this side of the Pacific!

Excellent find, I wonder how hard it'll be to find someone selling the headlights.

hello, the cappuccino is a 660cc turbo car. it is tiny. i have seen several running around here in japan. i only have seen one that was fixed up. but that one was very fast. it had a fmic and a bigger turbo on it. i saw it raceing up a moutnian here. it was going faster than the rx-7's were up that hill. honestly it was flying. the only 3 cars that were faster were 2 skylines and a mr2. if i get to come back for a while i want one. the cappuccino is about the size of a MG, so its really small. even smaller then a miata
92' mx-3 gsr, built engine, forged internals, p/p ze heads. t3/t4e .63/.60 turbo, udp, msd ignition, millenia s injectors, millenia im, water cooled intercooler, afpr, fmu. running at 7 psi right now

hmm see thats what i was thinkin.. like miata size, but its even smaller than that. BUT the headlights may be the same size! i havnt been able to find dimensions, but i'll definitely post on some cappuccino sites if anybody's sellin em. coz they have forums just like ours, so it shouldnt be too hard. and ya it looks like a miata-s2000-mercedes hahaha

Those headlights are sweet. I emailed one of the moderators from the message board on the site above (since I'm not a SCORE member, I can't post there), asking him where we could find these. I am awaiting a response...

I would start searching junkyards in Japan, Australia, New Zeland and UK. But I think that the headlights are taller and narrower than ours. Still might be able to retrofit the clear front lens and the internal guts onto/into our housing. I thik their low beam projector is H3, which is not a totally great thing, but you could always swap.

Oh, the other thing, Cappuccino's lights are for right-hand drive. So you definitely either need to swap the projectors with left-hand drive ones or take them apart and flip the cut-off shild inside the projector. Yah, I know I am getting ahead of myself, but something to keep in mind.

LOL Thanks Taras - I knew someone would point that out. ;) I'm not even sure if I want to go through the trouble (or expense) of getting my hands on these, but I'd thought I'd give it a try anyway.

Cappucino is too tiny, the headlight of it will never fit MX-3/Presso. Remember, its size is 'bout 1/2 MX-3, whoever 6' tall can't even fit in the driver seat.
