will the transmission hold?
i decided not to spend money on a bpt and tranny swap. now im wonderin if the auto transmission will be able to hold the extra hp from an exhaust n intake, bigger throttle body, n miata cams n pistons. will the auto transmission hold? thnx.

Probably not, but someone on the forum here is running nitrous with an automatic and I havent read anything about him blowing his up yet so you never know. In general, the answer would be NO. This is not a strong, forgiving automatic, not in any way shape or form.
At the minimum, put on a tranny oil cooler. Buy one new from Pep Boys or Autozone, or get one out of a junkyard (off a full size domestic pickup, or Ford Explorers have very nice ones, or I even found one on a Mitsubishi sedan that was perfect size, I dont remember what model it was sorry). This will help tremendously. But in the long run, expect it to break.
