Maybe you could use my imput for your tinted tail lights topic, I used pinstriping for my tail lights...it came in a roll with for stripes together horozontaly rather than one. I just cleaned the lights, stuck the pin stripes on, and then sealed the ends with clear fingernail polish. Here's a pic:
