WTB: B6 Block (4 cyl)...

Post by Shades »

So I ripped my engine out on Saturday, after it's been sitting on the side of the road for a while now.

Apparently I blew a rod right thru the block and bottom half of the oil pan.

So I'm looking to buy from someone a complete engine or just a block... the 4 banger outta the RS model.

Yes, yes... I know I should throw in a BP, but funds are kinda low and I don't have the extra money for an upgrade tranny, driveshaft, ecu, and fuel management system.

Tomorrow I'm calling around to the wreckers... :confused2:

i have two complete engines sitting in my garage. some one was supposed to buy a head off of me like a month ago but i guess doesent want it now. the one i have ran fine when i pulled it out about a year ago. it had 130,000 miles on it. it just smoked alittle when you started it up in the morning. then after it warmed up it was fine. probably needs new rings, or valve guid seals. its a DOHC. if you want it let me know

Ugh, you're down in Washington...

I'd love to take the DOHC off you... but I'm up here and don't have any way of getting it from you.

How much would you want for it as well, just wondering?

i would probably take 150 - 200 US. i know wrecking yards around my area are quite a bit higher like 400 - 600 US. it would be probly some where around 75US or so to ship, but im not sure about customs.

Not much closer but I do have a spare block, actually the B6T block but essentially the same. If you are needing the crank, main caps, etc, I have them too. I would love to get them out of my storage room so make a good offer and pay for the shipping and they are yours.
