Maybe you should worry about the rest of the car ebfore the headlights

It looks as if I missed something to. Nothing wrong with the car, infact it looks awesome.

Stick them inthe oven.....<p>Here is the baking recipie for you my friend:
-Wash your headlights from the outside.
-Make sure that they are dry.
-Take four metal clips off, that clip together the lens and housing.
-Preheat the oven to 200-225F.
-Use cookie sheet or pan, so your headlights do not touch the oven parts, racks.
-Take bulbs out.
-Do one headlight at the time.
-In the pre-heated oven, place your headlight, but turn oven off.
-Keep for no longer than 10 minutes. I used 5min.
-You need enough time to soften the black adhesive.
-Use a wide flat tool. Wide screwdriver or a table knife. Pry the lens carefully. The housing is brittle.
-I would use distilled water for cleaning, so no water spots. Unless you need to polish them.
-Chrome housing inside is very fragile.
-You can reuse old adhesive, but you need to reheat the housing again to put it together. Still would have some Black RTV adhesive to fill empty spots. Have to have good seal or you will get condensation inside. Do not use Silicone sealer.<p>Good luck.

It's VERY easy. Really, it is.<p>I did mine in about 20 mins total. That was both - not each.<p>The hardest part is just taking your time and prying little by little all around the headlight until you can grab one edge and just pull it off good.<p>The headlight is VERY brittle, like Taras mentioned, but it'll still seal up perfectly with a few minor breaks around the edges.<p>~A

Personnaly I go with replace method as they are getting very old with our cars NEways..and i do hear alot of ppl not just MX-3 but other ppl who did there's and condensation formed...just depends on how careful i guess.... I replaced mines cuz didn't want to risk it... and they are much better looking and hassle free... and 150 is a reasonable price too for it for OEM ones.

Trust me dude. It's not always on the outside. I had people tell me that 100 times. It wasn't until I said,” Okay you try and buff it clear", and they couldn't get it clean. I proved my point. I ended up wrapping a tiny cloth on a flexible wire and removed my bulb. I fished the wire in and rubbed the lense with the cloth. It was really tricky so I'd recommend Taras's "Headlight Baking Recipe". That way you can make sure it's clean. If money isn't an issue, just get new ones.
