MX-West 5th Annual MX-3 Meet

[MX-West Car Club]

July 19th, 2003 - 5th annual Mazda MX-3 Meet. Langara College 100 W. 49th Avenue Vancouver, BC. Starting @ 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcomed to joining us for breakfest in the morning and dinner after the meet at a local restaurant. Location for Breakfest and dinner to be announced at a later date.<p>Cork Sport will be attending our annual meet again this year. For some of you that haven't heard, Cork Sport sold the Project MX-3 so it will not be up at the meet. Hopefully Richard Harris will have his RX-8 by then and drive it up for all of us to drool over. If not it will be at Mazda Madness 2003 in August. If you plan on ordering parts from Cork Sport, do so now and ask them to bring your order up to the meet instead of shipping them to you. This way you will save on customs, brokerage fees and shipping cost.

Are the guys from Corksport gonna be staying for dinner? I work during the day that day, but i definitely wouldn't mind saving some money on my clear corners.<p>Keep me posted on the dinner location.<p>

If they don't stay for dinner, you can tell them to leave your clear corners with me. Come by for dinner after you get off work and pick up your clears from me.

Well everyone knock on wood, hope it will be hot and sunny that day. Do you know of anywhere else we can meet if it rains. The mall is definitely out of question during the day cause the rent-a-cops will just kick us out. Later at night, if I remember correctly they said after 7 pm is fine.

We've had all 4 meets in Langara rain or shine... so I don't think its a big concern... besides, its kinda like a tradition now haha...

that cool. I'll keep my finger crossed. Got another question...we have to drive all the way to Vancouver. Dont most of the memebr live in Surrey?

We've had the meet there the last 4 years and I don't see why we should move it at this point cause everyone knows where it is. I wouldn't say most of the members in the club live in Surrey, there's about 8 of us out of the 30. With us in Surrey, we get together for breakfest in the morning and then we cruise out to the meet together. Nothing like an MX-3 (8-10 cars) procession to the meet.

We're coming all the way from Calgary so don't complain...
