Street Racing Death
Street Racing Death
Hey,
Just thought I would throw in my two cents and ask that if you're going to race not to do it on the streets! Keep it to a secluded area that is relatively safe.
Reason is last night in Toronto a Ford Explorer lost control racing an MX-3 and struck and killed an 18 yr old pedestrian.
Here is the link for the Toronto Newspaper. http://www.canoe.ca/TorontoNews/ts.ts-1 ... 08.html
play safe
Mac

Re: Street Racing Death
Street racing is just stupid. If you street race youshould be in jail. Racing is for the track, thats why they make them, hence the name racetrack.

Re: Street Racing Death
Yes its stupid, but every one does it, its just how crazy you are that gets you into trouble. you know when you just have to beat that guy in a mini van or bus to the light so he wont be in front of you (racing) you know when you lane ends 300 feet and you step on the gas to get in front of that guy beside you(racing)
Just Don't Be Stupid About It!!!

Re: Street Racing Death
i agree, but not everyone is afforded the luxury of a racetrack nearby. i'm against street racing in residential areas or frequently traveled roads. for those who have access to rundown airports or closed back roads, then i don't feel it's all that bad. like someone else has posted, it's only the people involved that have the potential to get hurt(which is also the case at a racetrack). just don't be overrun with testosterone to the point that showing the pinto with rims and an exhaust that you can beat him that you endanger someone else's life. all for what, bragging rights? it all comes down to this: no matter where you race, be mindful of others and "USE" common sense.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.
