I like the yellow CRX but the wing has to go, that wing is WAY to much!!! sounds like it has a pretty sick stereo in it.

Personally I don't see what is so bad about a truck with a body kit on it...and why is that we always call everything that has a spoiler or a mod on it rice? I mean come on alot of the mx-3's on this site have bodykits and stuff, hell we are even driving jap cars... like seriously people you have got to learn not to be so damn negative towards other peoples cars. If yours is so not rice then put it up. I think that this whole rice issue is really stupid.

ok first off my friend has a truck thats done up. its a brand new dodge and hes put about $20,000 grand into it. his rims which are like 20"s cost him 3000 a peice its lowered to the ground with air ride, has a sweet body kit on it, hes got a PS2 inside with a kick *** audio setup and a whole lot of stuff under the hood so yes a body kit on a truck does work lol. he won a few shows last season. and that spoiler on the crx is something else lol the car looks like a box.
but is my mx-3 rice, cause i have a wing on it, with some body graphics, a nice blue black interior thats just missing the racing seats, and i have some performance as well, nothing major just air intake, cat back exhaust, change ingnition wires, and some strut bars but it is by no means a race car lol.
im just confused with this rice situation ive been getting different views from different people some one pls clarify

Ehh, well thats just my stand point on it I guess.
I think trucks that have been modified like that, or pretty much in any way look stupid. Trucks are meant for hauling crap around, or off-raoding, not cruising and scraping speed-bumps (they're supposed to fly over them!).
No not everyone can afford Momo seats, but if you go to eBay pretty much anyone could own some nice racing style seats.
People slam my car all the f-cking time, so I don't seem why I cant do it to others. I dont try and act like I am fast, I am just a stock V6, slow, but the whole rice thing is losers who make their car look fast when it isn't.
I slammed a CRX just like that yellow one with NOS, and I only got up to 4th gear. They are slow no matter what the hell you do to them.
Also, why would anyone want 2 15" subs right behind their head? Why not just put the speakers strapped to your ears too!?!
The whole rice thing will never go away; not unless sport compacts go as well as well as the aftermarket.
I dont care if you think I am unjust in what I am doing.
I certainly am not the only one doing it.
~A
PS: This was only meant for some fun as well. If I offended anyone, I am sorry, that's not what I wanted to do. Also, if this is against the rules of the forum, I'll refrain from posting this stuff again.
Later.
[ November 23, 2002: Message edited by: Aiden ]

Well not to sound bossy or anything, but how about not posting comments along with the pics? That way we can form our own opinion of the cars?
Just a thought

I think the site is pretty cool...I started taking rice pics at one time but some "questionable" pics were taken on my camera(one time use), so i cant take it in to have them developed LOL..i actually saw like a 1980 something cadillac with two miniature aluminum spoilers on the trunk..yes, thats right, two!!! I went to buy the camera but when i went back it was gone :( I only have one problem with that site...the yellow crx is pretty cool...the reason he has the subs there is probaly for show or what not, he probaly doesnt play them while he is in it.

I think lil-law hit it right on the dot, what is wrong with spoilers and body kits, makes think that i'm on this forum talking to a bunch of inbreds who drive nothing but ford F-250's sometimes. There was nothing wrong with the first red crx, who made it ricey to put clear lenses on cars? It just looks cleaner, i hate orange lenses, in japan they are actually smart and put clear lenses on a lot of there cars stock, just look at the s2000, and play some GT3, most of those cars have clear lenses too, is that ricey?
