oil leak =(

Post by lcf666 »

Hi guys, I just had my engine clean. I went for a trip 300miles and when I go back and look my engine I saw an oil leak. It seems to be very small. It look like the leak is on the screw.

Here is a picture so you can tell me what it is or how to fix it.

thank you all.

pull the wires and plugs and see if theres oil in there.

Its more then likley not an oil leak as it is more the kl01 nozzle that sits directly above that if that is leaking or not covered it will leave oil or grit on that area.

Doesn't look like any oil around the PCV valve, but there is some around that spark plug wire on the right. Pull that plug wire and see if there's oil in there. If so, replace the valve cover gasket.

I dont think the leak is on the plug wire. I think is on the bolt that I marked with the red arrow.

Agreed valve cover gasket. Front one is easy to do - rear one is another story. Good luck
