Cleaning engine question (electrical)

Post by airjordon_09 »

Ok, my engine is dirty as hell. My problem is, that i spent a couple hours about 4 or 5 months ago cleaning it and it came out nice but still not as good as i want it. My brother used the engine cleaner stuff then used the power washer to get it clean and it came out amazing.

My problem is that i am afraid that when i use the power washer on my engine, that i will have electrical problems, Last year i had about 3 months of pure hell and i have a custom hood and the vents sit right about my spark plugs and when water got in there last time i washe dit last summer, the car wouldnt start. now other then the spark plugs, is there any other part in the engine bay that might cause problems from the power washer?

thanks

I've never had a problem with getting the battery wet. The intake hole and the distributor I just duct tape a plastic bag over and I can spray away no problems.

^ ^...... Well it depends on how cheap your battery is, and how much water you actualy put on it. :)
