two questions...

i just got my car back from the machanic they charged me $817 for new struts and springs(s8 from mazda)and bearing plate cuz i hit a pothole and broke my spring in 2! i was thinking <p>1)should i just go ahead and replace the rear too cuz both fronts got new suspension? <p>2)Or would it be cheaper to just get lowering springs bought and installed? i know lowering springs run about $200 for all four but the fronts are new! i was thinking of selling the new ones but who would buy 2 oem springs? <p>3)How do you tell if the shocks or srtuts are in the rear are bad?<p>i like the lowered look but i would hate to bottom-out, i noticed two hooks under the car <p>4)Would hit take the hit?would it be bad if they got hit hard enuf?(more than 2 sorry,thanx)
