Axle noise

I'm having a cracking and clicking noise come from my axle when I turn corners, both right and left. I have a feeling that it could be serious, has anyone had this problem and is it most likely the axle needs replacement? Could it be something else? Thanks in advance <P>J

I'm having the same problem right now. I'm goona have it checked as soon as a have a minute.<P>I get that noise at low speed when I do sharp corners. What about you?

CV joints.....typical noise. Replace the entire unit.

remanufactured axles are like $60USD or so.

Thanks guys, I'll have it checked out. Yeah it makes the noise when I go slow around corners. The CV joints would cost about how much? <P>J
