Anybody have anything to say about the Koni inserts? Thinking about Koni inserts w/ GC's.<P>D a v e

konis are awesome...but kinda a pain because they should be rebuilt every so often if you want the best performance.

Thanks for the reply, now when you say "every so often" are we talkin' 2-3 years or less. Also in order to rebuild will they have to be pulled and shipped or *could* I rebuild them myself. (I love the rear tire off the ground in your pic! :eek: )<P>D A V E

just depends on how often you want to rebuild them. If you dont care, you could get them rebuilt every 5 years, but if youre a stickler to performance, some of the more serious racers are doing it more than once a year, at 800 bucks a pop, and yes, you have to ship them to an authorized Koni service place.

the Mazdaspeeds are also adjustable....just a thought if you didnt know. They also dont have to be rebuilt.

They don't have to be rebuilt, but can they? I'm gonna be driven' this car for a while and wanna keep options open for the future.<P>D A V E

i believe they have a lifetime warranty, but you might want to call Mazda Competition Parts about it. <P>but no, they cant be rebuilt.<P>The Konis also have a lifetime warranty, but CAN be rebuilt.
