Can I keep the stock struts??

Post by Justin »

I am lowering my car between 1" and 1.25". Can I keep the stock struts or should I replace them? Also, what are your thoughts on B&G lowering springs....$350 CDN. Thanks in advance

with that drop you can keep the stock springs but with it being a 96 you might want to. it all depends on how good of shape your stocks are. but i'd go ahead and replace them cause they aren't sport shocks and they will bottom out eventually so you might as well kill two birds with one stone. just my .02

i wouldnt keep the stockers. They will blow out eventually, and if you do it now, then you save big time on labor costs. Also, your ride will be improved signifigantly.
