Using BP ECU on B6T

Post by Shady469 »

Well after having my bp10 ecu laying around for 3 weeks i finally got tired of looking at it and decided to put it in. Getting the motor to run again was no easy task; it took 10 mins of playing with the S-AFC just to get it to idle and about 1.5 hours of street tuning to get things semi-dialed in. I was using the SOHC ecu with 370cc injectors and had corrections ranging from -42% to +10% but now they go from -20% to +25%. i think this has alot to do with the different timing maps and stock injector sizes. anyway, to how it performs: WOW. Hearing the B6T scream all the way to 7k is a beautiful thing. It's a shame to think that all this time i've been missing out on nearly 1,000 rpms of usable powerband.
with the addition of this ecu, the cams, flywheel, downpipe, and pushing 14 psi i'm hoping very low 13's/high 12's.
B6T powered MX-3 - sold
Stage 3ish 03 WRX - sold
03 S2000 - current/ for sale
