got f$#%$# at the emissions station today

Post by valenzul »

Blew a head gasket or worse. The car limps now. Stupid guy drives it up so high on 4th gear and could not get it into 5th. the next thing I know is that the car would keep dying on idle. I saw that there is coolant coming up from one of the spark plug holes. Frick!!!! I'm saying. that does not look good. Well. I see the "milkshake" residue that is now ontop of my valvecover. I'm filing a claim, but these guys all of a sudden start telling me there is something wrong with my car. I'm am sooooo lost for words today. Taking the head out looks like getting the turbo manifold off. Timing belt. might as well change the belt... and taking all the wires/whatnot off. . Will I need to take the cams/valves off the head to do get to the head gasket? I sure hope I don't have a cracked head or anything worse. What your opinion here turbo guys? Please help...
