Opinion on log style manifolds.

Post by cjthor »

Hey guys. I would go with one because I can get one very easily thru jgstools. It will pretty much still line up with my downpipe and intercooler piping with a little modification. I am just wondering about performance. Does anyone have any experience with a log manifold? Thanks in advance.

my friends crx is running 11.09's in the 1/4mi with a log manifold. they are perfectly fine, though ugly IMO. performance wise, as long as it's good construction, there's no problem using one.

Lance from JGS tools said that the log manifold design can support around 600 whp easily.

i was told that because each exaust port doesent have the same distance of travel like in a properly tuned header, that the high end wouldent be nearly as good as it could be. although they work just fine.
