Intercooler sizes

I'm about to purchase an intercooler for my GS and I was wondering the dimensions of some of your intercoolers that you may have on your car. I dont want to get one too small, but I surely don't want one too large. Any help is appreciated.

Are you looking to buy brand new? If so, a good size is the Silvia core. GTR cores are good but you will want to watch the cfm ratings, when the core becomes 3" thick you start to see a greater pressure drop. 2.75" is a great depth but again this all depends on your goals. What turbo are you using?

measure the spot you want to put it in and go from there. You don't want anything thicker then 3" its a waste of space and $$ plus after 3" it has no extra cooling effect

hey Barry, the intercooler i am using is 29 inches long, 7 inches in height, and 3 inches thick. It is spearco cores center welded together, that boostedmx had made. For my turbo system on the stock 4cyl sohc it is pretty much overkill
