Fuel pump?

Post by Jowga28 »

I know that with the BPT engine I need to upgrade my fuel pump for a 2gen rx-7 turbo one but I was wondering if this would work http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2413547728&category=33555
or do I have to use this one?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2424540889&category=33555&rd=1
Thank you your help in advance.

http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/
the FMP204 is what i used perfect fit didnt have to cut any wires and works perfect plus a real nice guy to deal with. And fast servise, two thums up from me. The only thing with the kit that didnt fit was the new tank seal, i guess the mx6 has a smaller opeaning.
[ July 23, 2003: Message edited by: mrspanky79 ]

yes you should upgrade your fuel pump, your old pump is probably running at full capacity. if you turn up the boost a little you will probably go lean and get detonation. detonation = bad
