Jspec turbo numbers....vj-6?

Hey all,<BR> Just took a look at the turbo on my b6t.. I thought it was supposed to be a vj14? I have a vj6...Hmm is this correct?

Vj-6 is standard turbo on the jspec as far as I know. For some reason there seems to be a few choices on turbos on these motors. Not sure on the differences but I will look into it and see what I can find out.

to add to that, i believe the bg also had a vj21.

Maybe the size of the turbo has something to do with the tranny? I know in the 1990 Eclipse GSX's, the manuals have bigger turbos than the automatics....just a thought...??

GT and GTX models were never offered with an automatic. Some of the earlier BFMR models may have had it as an option. I know that the newer GTR doesn't have one.
