EBAY EURO GAGES?

Post by Guest »

I've noticed on ebay that they sell those nice looking euro gages that look like true digital displays at night, for around 25 bucks. Are they any good? Are they the exact same type of quality that the others ones sell for on different websites for aboutt 70 bucks? Someone let me know because I'll buy it off of ebay if it is of :p excellent quality........... but if not, I'll just have to fork over more dough to another website.

Thanks

They work good i have had no problems with them in the almost 1 1/2 year i have had them on Note the one that goes over the fuel/temp guage can be a problem many have broken the temp or fuel needle trying to put them on. i have found that unbolting the fuel guage placing the guage over them slid the fuel under and bolt it up. 3 screws in back of the instument cluster. laters

I got a set of the Silver Reverse Glow Gauges. Yes the Fuel/Temp was tricky, but I got it on surprisingly easy, without removing anything from the back. You just have to be careful. I took the green rubbers off the factory gauge light bulbs, and ended up with more lighting options than I thought I'd ever have. and I love this set because it retains original number lighting, without the silly glowing circle in the middle.
If not broke - don't fix, modify. If broke - fix it right, and make it better.

Yep, I've got them on my MX. I've also got the matching HVAC controls, I love them!

Here's a shot I took after installing them:

There are some more shots on my cardomain page, the link is in my signature.

Storm, where did you get that HVAC kit? The only reason I haven't gotten the reverse glow gauges is because I don't want mixed blue/green lighting (and Green reverse glow just doesn't look that good, IMO).

Yeah, that's it. I ordered mine from speedhut. It was only like $35 shipped, and makes a world of difference, especially when I have my interior neons on as well!

Just remembered, a tip for ya - The standard inverter that you get to power the indiglo dials has 4 outputs on it, and the dials only use 3. With a bit of creative wire management, you can hook the HVAC controls up to the 4th output so you don't have to add a second inverter.
