When I was considering changing seats, one item that was important. How are they going to survive and protect you in an accident. Some cheaper ones will crumble very east in an accident beacuse they were not welded properly or did not use proper materials. Then the fit and finish issues. And by fit I mean, how your butt will fit into those seats. Just something to think about...

I like the ractive ones. pretty solid. but they don't have the quick button on the back to put the seat forward so someone can get into the back. You have to crank the wheel to get it forward then crank it again to put it back. It's a pain. that's why I haven't got any yet

anybody know what seats have this feature?

I had corbeaus on my Mx-3. These seats are perfect for the price. Many different models available as well as colors. Theu don't make brackets for the Mx but just get the 91-93 Ford Escort brackets (same chasis).
You can get a really nice reclineable seat for about $225.
More seats up from there

So you succesfully used escort seat rails to install aftermarket seats? Did they raise or lower the seating height compared to stock?

Hey Redlined, Did the toms seats hold you in place while making sharp turns and whatnot? ....do you have anything to say about the stitching or fabric quality?

been looking at toms seats for some time now and would like to know if they are junk

Thanks -Joe
