Me Door

Post by UKMXV6 »

Had a new door skin put on after some chump pulled out without looking on me way back from the school run :crying: . Now I have the car back the door seems to be hanging a bit lower that it should. Is it quite quick and if so how do you tweak the alignment :welder: , or should I take it back to the bods that did it and risk not having me car over Christmas while they jump up and down on the door?
I don't seem to have much luck with random's working on me car,

Thanks

I`d take it straight back and get them to do it whilst you wait.
Out of interest how much did they charge???
Or was it an insurance job??

The bod that pulled out wanted to sort it without going through insurance, he had crumpled the bottom of the door and the back quarter panel. The first garage we went to said he would charge £600 for sorting the lot including the door skin. I then went to a garage near where I live and he said that it would be £450 for the job lot. The door skin over the phone he was quoted about £100 and the quarter panel he would sort and re-spray the side of the car.

Thanks for the advice, I will wait till after Christmas as it have just worked out that it is tomorrow, and take it back to him.

Thanks :2thumbsup:
