If I shave my antenna, do you think the hole is small enough to fiberglass over?

Or is it so big that I need to weld a piece over it?

I disagree with kuruption, mine was filled with fiberglass/bondo.
It still looks 100% mint.
The hole really isnt that big.

I disagree with Damien. Mine was filled and has cracked! With the change in temp, its only a matter of time until the expansion/contraction of that crap gives way. You'll regret not spending the extra few bucks!! Especially if you get a custom 3 stage paint job as I did. :sadwavey:

The best way to do that is to take a small piece of metal and epoxy it in place with metal bonding adhesive from fusor.

Fusor panel bonding adhesives (metal to metal)

Once dry drill several small holes in the new piece of metal and then skim coat with duraglass fiberglass based filler. The holes allow the bondo to go through and really grab. After the duraglass is sanded skim coat witha glazing filler and prep for primer/paint

my idea would be to fill the hole with JB Weld or Permatex Cold Weld....then grind in smooth. No welding and will not crack or distort with temp. changes.
