rust wah !

Post by avio »

i'm really upset today cause i got my car back from the mechanic and they told me that the bottom of my baby is starting to rust !!!! Can I fix that, anyone ??? (i kinda know the answer to the rhetorical question, but it makes me feel better to ask the question just in case anyone has any suggestions). If there are no suggestions, or solutions then i'm gonna get the bottom sprayed with the protection stuff again ... :(

you mean engine bay not engine? if your engine rots in places, man you've got some serious problems, try ebay, or eastwoodcompany.com

wtf! Ur engine is rotting? Thats not good.
If its that bad...the damage is already done. Using some rust prevention stuff won't do anything since it has already started and has been eating away so much stuff.
only thing to do now is either: 1: sell car and get anotehr with no rust, 2: pay out the a** for bodyshop to remove it all.

RELAX ppl... I meant some stuff around my engine... like nuts and bolts here and there... (nowhere near he engine) The engine itself looks like new... just a little dirty tho... can someone suggest a cleaner?
I'm sorry for going off topic... It's a disease and this forum is my enabler..
