questions about putting a delsole hatch on a mx3

Post by babyblue »

Just wondering if anyone knew if a del sole hatch will fit right on to a mx3 or would some alterations have to be done?

im assuming alterations would have to be done, but dont do it!! there is a red car that put a del sol hatch on their mx3 and it looks like a$$, dont make your car look ugly.
You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a White guy, the best golfer is a black guy, The Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the US of arrogance, and Germany doesn't want to go to war

His name is James Cook. Alterations would have to be done, as he said,
quote:
The glass was removed, then the edge was cut out. We made a templet of the opening and then welded it in. kinda difficult but worth it. nw it looks like a Del Sol (kinda)

- soooo.... here's some pics:

That second pic has been around for a while. Are you sure he hasn't painted it yet?
To all the haters . . . these guys are going out on a limb and doing something different. I give them props and respect for having the courage to do that stuff, and then take garbage from the few that hate.
one

E-Bucks is right, even if you don´t like the mod. It´s one of the most innovative mods ever done to a mx-3! ;)
Btw: dan del,sol is nicer than the red one.
I wonder if a cabrio conversion could be done ??
