haha ya that's cool. LEDs are the future. I'm an electrical engineer, so I have been working with them for a long time. They will replace all headlights, turn lights, tails, etc. They are very bright (when bundled together) and last for a very very long time (way longer than the car would last).

Good question. Honestly, I am not sure! I would only guess that maybe you would have to put a whole bunch together in a bundle to get a bright enough light to project far down a road, and that would be costly. I can't think of any other reason. They are low power, and small (at least by themselves).

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33649&item=2414270320<p>I've searched high and low for a version of this mirror for the MX-3. Its just not avaiable. There is a kid around me that has a set of these on a MX-3. I've yet to get close but I'm pretty sure its one of the cheaper versions that pretty much just glues that LED chunk to the outside. I want mine recessed. I HAVE to have them recessed if I'm spending that much money on some mirrors. Also, I'd have to get blue LEDs just b/c it'd look so much cooler... But god I love these mirrors
