Post by Dragon1976_27 »

Anyone out there know when the pics for this kit as well as the pricing will be out? Just curious.

Hey guys...the design is looking good. but we don't know what the final outcome...cause the gforces scorpion looks cool but on a car it looked really awkward and ricey.
JCali - but this does look nice

is that "wide body kit' theyre working on or is that their other body kit for mx3?
if its wide body kit arent there supposed to be panels going onto front fenders and quarter panels since its "wide" body kits its supposed to have them and pieces on doors too.

wide body kits arent that great anyway. It looks funny if you have rims that are all tucked in and arent flush with the width of your car. I guess the solution would be to spend alot more money on rims that stick out more or get spacers or something along those lines. I personally would just rather have a regular body kit(which im doing, im in on the group buy for that prelude looking body kit).

I agree I've seen some wide body kits on cars and the rims are barried under the fender like a funny car or something. But really it has to do with offset look...and to get spacers on a wheel isn't that hard...
Jman

You don't necessarily need spacers or wider rims. A wide body kit can be wide up top and taper down around the wheels wells. This works well with a rounded car like the mx-3.
one

Well If this kit is any where near about a grand...I'm buying it.
Jman...Cause not many people have wide kits...and the EVO look is sick...when it's sunk in a little.

well the real MAIN purpose of a widebody kit is so you can get wider tires for more traction.. so i recommend that if you people out there are going to dishout the money for a widebody kit then get some wider width tires too for some really nice traction.
