Fixing ma bumper!

Post by Juddd_83 »

Finally went and bought my fiberglass repairing materials. Dont know if anyone saw the crack in my bumper, but its right under my right taillight. I was wondering should I take the whole bumper off even if I dont have to, to repair it? It should work fine with it on?
Im not sure if im gonna fix it right away tomorrow gonna test some of this touch up paint I bought first to make sure it matches the colour of my car well enough. This is what the had at Canadian Tire for touch up paint. Anyone know if it will match ok with the colour code im gonna give for a blaze red?
Motomaster
47-0817-8
Maz 71-90 RH
Sunrise Red

Thats all it says but it says it will match and red vehicle from 90 to 95 or something like that from mazda.

The color match for blaze red is the mazda sunset red, or something along the lines of sunset something. But I grabbed a can of it and its a perfect match for my blaze red.
Good luck with that repair kit
Keep us posted on how it goes!

take ur bumper off if u can and put in reinforcement fabric at back, put in filler and sand it smooth when it dries and u should be ready for paint, just remember to use "plastic prep" before u paint of paint is gonna peel after a while, since paind doesnt like most plastics cause plastic contains silicone.

why don't you just by some Fuson stuff for fix bumpers instead of the fiberglass, it's what they use in shops, but i guess if fiber glass is your thing then go for it just my 2 cents good luck
