This has been posted many times before.
Nobody has ever been known to have successfully put 19" rims on an MX-3. The largest you can go without any custom work is 18".
Is it really worth putting in all that custom work and money so your rim can be 1" larger?

Not to mention the larger the wheel, the more likely it's going to weigh more.

Yes 18's will fit but not too many people have them on their mx-3's because you have to use super low profile tires. They do look sweet though.

There is a Silver Mx in Orangeville with the fx kit/wing, i'm sure Macnwigs has seen it, and i've been told that it has 19's on it.
I've seen it driving (and the rims were big, but it was hard to tell). I never acutally got a chance to look at the rims up close. Maybe someone knows him, his name is Tim, I met him before he put on the rims.

I'm about to buy some low profiles for my wheels, but I don't know what tires I can get. I want some 17's but what does 215/35 out of 215/35/18 - I know the 18 must be wheel size.

The 215 is the tread width in MM, and the 35 is the sidewall height as a percentage of the tread width in MM.
I could never figure out why they switch from metric to imperial like that.
one
