My friend wants me to install a voltmeter in his 93 GS. How do I go about doing this?
I haven't installed a voltmeter before but I know my way around car electrical systems.
Thanks!

Re: Volts Gauge?
Two ways you can do it.
One way is to hook up the positive wire from the gague to the positive terminal on the battery, and then the negative wire from the gauge to the chassis. This will tell you the battery voltage at all times.
The other way is to instead hook up the positive wire from the gauge to any wire that gets 12V from the "ON" position in the key switch.
Either way pretty much will do the same thing, but there are pros and cons to each way.
