Ques. about rubber door trim

Post by Quazi5 »

I'm not sure what to do. The rubber or plastic trim on the edge of my DS door is coming off and I need to get a new one because it's cracked and started to turn brittle. Should I just replace it or take the whole thing off and try to clean up the glue left over? Also if I replace it, What kind of glue should be used or what is the best thing? OH... Duh.... And where do I get the trim? I was looking for what everyone else has done, is doing, or would do in my case. :(

Sorry for the double post.

you could just glue it but the glue wont last as long. If you replace it mazda's gonna charge you 30us but at least it'll last the rest of the cars life
