Adding Rims

Post by nudesgood »

For all those who have rims, other than the stock ones, how did you get them on?? Did you have to buy ones that only had 4 holes, or did you somehow convert your rotor to 5 nuts and then use that??? I really want new rims, but its impossible to find any with 4 holes (nuts)...and, any that I do find are not that appealing to me either. Any help, or comments is appreciated.
Thanks. :)

I wouldn't think that it would be too hard to find 4 bolt rims.. Adapting a 5 bolt is not only difficult but also illegal in a lot of areas due to safety.
Check some sites, even if the picture of the rim is a 5 bolt it's probably available in 4 bolt a well check out Rim1.com for some good prices and lots of 4 bolt options

you shouldnt have to switch to a 5 bolt pattern. when u go in to buy rims theyll ask for your make and model car and maybe how many bolts. theyll then determine whether u can buy the certain wheels or not. id think that our bolt pattern which is 4x100 (which at least is mine i think) is common i think civics have the same one. and u know when companies make aftermarket parts for cars like wheels they always have civics in mind.

the bolt pattern on the mx-3 is indeed 4x100.
Many companies produce several styles of wheels with this bolt pattern.Checkout[URL=http://www.tirerack.com].you can try on tires on a virtual mx-3. ;)
