Are you talking about putting them in your headlights, or somewhere else?

I got the ones that come with the controler. It controls the speed and pattern. It was pretty easy to hook up, but the only problem I ran into was when I drilled into the headlights the metal started breaking away. But they look good and I mounted the controler in the space to the right of the steering wheel. In all it took about 30 min.

I think he might be talking about the fact that the police strobes are controled where as the cheep ones just blink at a random speed and pattern. There is alot more wiring involved in the controled ones (obviously they have the module). Also with the controled you can hook up to four strobes into one place rather than wiring them seperatly.
