RIMS and Springs question

Post by marsinner »

Im thinking of picking up a set of
17" TSW EDGE Rims. Im not sure if they'll fit though, can someone tell me whether
17x7.5 or 17x7.0 would fit.
And what in hell do those numbers mean.
Also what offset do I need , i have a 96 MX3, 4 cyl manual.
heres a link to the tire http://www.washingtontire.com/wheels/tsw/edge.html
I'm also thinking of lowering my car, but have no clue as to what I need exactly, I want to get the adjustable hydrolic shocks, U know, push a button and the car will lower, but I have an option of raising it back to original position, not pure hydrolics!. Im not sure where to start looking, if anyone has any links or numbers in TOronto area, id appreciate it.
thanks,

yes 17's will fit on the car, I have 17x7.5 meaning its 17" tall and 7.5" wide. I cant remember what the offset is but i believe its the same as a 92-95 civic. Hope it helps.
