Removing the dashboard

Post by nitebatman »

I just bought paint to do the dashboard of my '92 MX-3. I haven't actually taken a good look at it, but how exactly does the dash trim come off? I noticed the two screws above the gauges, if I undo those does it just pull off? Also, how do I remove the brake handle so that I can paint that?<BR>Any help would be great.

I wanted to take out my dash and paint it too, please let me know how to take it out, I can take out the center console and the vents, but that's about it.

I could not do it last weekend cause of my eyes, And now we have 4 inches of snow.. So I will have to wait until it gets warmer at the end of the month. But I will let you guys know. I think that all along the dash up my the windshield it is all clips so the screws either have to be on the sides?? or in the front. But I am not sure..
